VISIT KOINER FARM

Even in these times of uncertainty, Koiner Farms remains an asset to our community.  At the farm you will find bees buzzing, flowers blooming, insects emerging, seeds sprouting, and our farm manager working to keep the farm on track.  All of these familiar and comforting sights, sounds and smells of spring, remind us that even in this time of isolation, we are connected to the living things all around us.

While all spring internships and events at Koiner Farm have been cancelled or postponed, the farm remains open and accessible to the public.  However, in our communal effort to stop the spread, we are asking that you request a reservation before you visit Koiner Farm and abide by all of our new on-farm guidelines.

COVID-19 Guidelines for Koiner Farm:

  • No more than one family on the farm at a time.

  • Visits are allowed Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4PM.

  • Give on-farm priority to those who have made a reservation.

  • Leave no trace!  Pack it in and pack it out - do not take anything or leave anything at the farm.  The trashcans are private property.

  • Enjoy the farm with 3 of your 5 senses - you may look, smell, and listen, but please do not touch and taste anything at this time.

In lieu of previously scheduled  spring field trips and events, we would like to offer several individual on-farm activities.  See our suggested on-farm activities below.

Thank you for helping us keep Koiner Farm a safe, peaceful, and productive place for all to enjoy.
