Reminder, all 2020 volunteers need to submit their 2020 Waiver of Liability Form before starting work this season!  Thanks!!

And don't forget, Koiner Farm's Spring Volunteer Day is Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 10am-12noon.

All are welcome-  RSVPs are kindly requested so that we can plan accordingly.  Thanks!!

Koiner Farm was owned and operated by Mr. Charlie Koiner for nearly 40 years. Since Charlie's passing in January 2019, CKC Farming has been working to ensure that Koiner Farm does not miss a  beat  (or beet) without Charlie at the helm.

Today, Koiner Farm is maintained by a wonderful, dedicated, knowledgeable group of regular volunteers!

Please note, all spring 2020 volunteer positions are now filled.  Check back in May to see if we have openings for the summer.

To find out more about our volunteer positions, read below or check out our FAQs for Interns and Volunteers...

What are the expectations of volunteers?

  • Time Commitment: CKC volunteers should be able to dedicate a minimum of two hours per week. Since most of our volunteers are working professionals, volunteer hours are typically between 4:00-7:00pm Sunday through Friday, or 9:00am-1:00pm Saturday.

  • Type of Work: CKC volunteers prepare soil, plant seeds, water, weed, till, compost, and may even work at the farmers' market.  Volunteers who are interested in our education programs and/or nonprofit management should contact Kate.

Still on the fence?

Keep an eye on our Facebook page for news about CKC volunteer days and more.

Next Volunteer Day is Saturday, March 7, 2020

Please RSVP so that we can plan accordingly.  Thanks!
