Dear Educators,
Visiting the farm offers students a hands-on, real-world learning experience that brings classroom concepts to life. Our K–8 curriculum is designed to align with grade-level learning goals while engaging students in agriculture, science, literacy, environmental stewardship, and food systems. Through guided activities, observation, and inquiry-based learning, students build connections between what they learn in school and how food, land, and communities are interconnected. Farm visits support critical thinking, curiosity, and respect for nature, while providing meaningful, standards-aligned enrichment for diverse learners.
We invite teachers, parents, troop leaders, home schoolers and others to utilize our K-8 Urban Ag Education Lesson Plans linked below, and feel free to provide feedback. Subscribe to our Newsletter and/or contact kate@ckcfarming.org and or jessie@ckcfarming.org if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
Koiner Staff
