The Charles Koiner Conservancy is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to protecting and sustaining a network of neighborhood farms throughout Montgomery County, MD. Every donation, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated and helps us further our mission to create a sustainable network of urban farms that help people re-connect with the land, their food, and their neighbors. We believe that farms should be like parks... one in every neighborhood and open to everyone! 

 

The Charles Koiner Conservancy is working to create a network of neighborhood farms that support a more equitable and sustainable local food system.  To do this, we need the support of our community. Sustaining donors are critical to any nonprofit, but particularly to a small conservancy, like ours, which is committed to preserving and maintaining urban farms in perpetuity.

​We hope you will join the movement to build a stronger, more resilient local food system that feeds us all.  Here are some ways you can help...

  • Amazon Smile: Select CKC Farming as your Amazon Smile charity of choice.  You can find us by searching "CKC Farming" or entering our EIN (83-1145521) at www.smile.amazon.com.

  • Facebook Fundraiser: Launch a Facebook Fundraiser on our behalf.  We are a young organization and need help growing our social media presence.  Introducing CKC to your friends and family with a Facebook Fundraiser would make a big difference to our small organization. 

  • GroupRaise: Invite your friends and family to a local GroupRaise registered restaurant and request that CKC Farming receive a percent of the restaurant's evening proceeds.  Contact kate@groupraise.org for details.

  • Corporate Giving: Introduce us to your company's corporate giving program.  CKC offers a lot of highly visible sponsorship opportunities, plus an outdoor space for company volunteer days.

  • Host a Party: Celebrate your birthday, anniversary or other special day by asking friends and family to make a donation to CKC in lieu of gifts.
