"I support CKC Farming because Koiner Farm helps my family think about food on a more personal level. It feels like our food choices really make a difference."

TWO WAYS TO GIVE THIS TIME OF YEAR
It's spring... the warmer days, early blossoms, and first spring plantings never fail to stir a sense of excitement for what the season will bring. We invite you to join in on the excitement by 'adopting a row' or becoming a 'friend of the farm'!
For a gift of $50, you can 'sponsor' a 30-inch garden row at Koiner Farm, which will help cover the costs associated with planting, caring and harvesting the crops in this row.
'Adopting' a row in honor of a friend or family member makes a great gift, especially for Easter, Passover, Mother's Day or just to say "Happy Spring!" Click here to name a row in honor of a friend or family member.
'Adopting' a row (or two or three) is easy - simply select the number of rows that you would like to 'adopt' from the options below and click the payment button. You can pay with credit, debit or PayPal.
Reminder: if you would like to name your row in honor of a friend or family member, please submit this Google Form.
Thank you to our wonderful 'Friends of the Farm'! You all are paving the way for a robust and meaningful urban farming movement here in Montgomery County, MD!
Anyone who donates to CKC is a 'Friend of the Farm'! Whether it makes sense for you to make a one-time donation or a sustaining donation, we are so incredibly appreciative of each and every one of our supporters.
Your financial contribution will:
Help build infrastructure at Koiner Farm so that we can grow more clean and nutritious produce.
Provide educational opportunities to local students, including internships for high school and college students and hands-on field trips for elementary and middle school students.
Support efforts to identify and create more urban farms throughout our wider community.
A $300 donation will cover the cost of one internship stipend.
A $120 donation will cover the cost of supplies for one field trip to Koiner Farm.
A $600 donation will cover the cost to maintain one garden bed at Koiner Farm.
The Charles Koiner Conservancy for Urban Farming (EIN: 83-1145521) is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All donations to CKC are tax deductible to the extent of the law.
Urban farms are not about how many you feed, but how you feed them.
Now, more than ever, the world need healthy, knowledgeable, caring individuals, armed with the experience and understanding to build a smart, equitable and sustainable food system. Your donation to CKC will help endow the next generation of workers, voters, consumers, and innovators with the tools and knowledge they need to solve the agricultural challenges of tomorrow.
Urban farms connect us to our food, our land and our neighbors.
We believe that farms should be like parks... one in every neighborhood!
CKC is working to create a network of neighborhood farms that support a more equitable and sustainable local food system. To do this, we need the support of our community. Sustaining donors are critical to any nonprofit, but particularly to a small conservancy, like CKC, which is committed to preserving and maintaining urban farms in perpetuity.
To become a sustaining donor, check kthe PayPal box that says "Make this a monthly donation."
"Koiner Farm is my neighborhood farm." - Derrick, 9
We hope you will join the movement to build a stronger, more resilient local food system that feeds us all!
